Protests in the U.S.

End the War!
End the War!

The Vietnam War had completely divided the Nation. As the Drafts were beginning to become more and more unfair more and more Americans started getting fed up with the war. Young people from working-class families were more likely to be drafted and sent to Vietnam because they were unable to afford college rather than the others. When word got around that Nixon wanted to invade Cambodie the protesting became unbearable. The protesting soon led to public rallies and marches in towns arcoss the country. These protests soon became violent as some of them resulted in the shooting of some of the protesters.
